Fulcrum Team member Ayanda Zulu shares her Mentee Experience

On the 24th of November, it was Graduation Day for both the Class of and the Roots & Wings students, hosted in the auditorium at Santam, there was excitement in the air as the graduates waited with bated breath for their moment to take to the stage to receive their certificate and cap doping from Thabo Twalo, Insurance Institute of Gauteng president.

We had our Fulcrum Group Receptionist, Ayanda Zulu participating in the Roots and Wings Programme as a Mentee, and she shared a few words with us about her experience.

“What I have learned from the IIG Roots and Wings Program is that when you decide to #Showup, show up with intention and make sure that whatever you’ve learned will positively impact your life and/or career at the end of the day.

My Mentor, Eugene Hatting from IUM, has taught me to believe in myself and to face my fears head-on no matter how big they might seem, facing them will make me achieve things I’ve always wanted to achieve in life.”
